Associate Broker, Vice President of Operations

I have lived in the Rome area since 1968. After Graduating from West Rome High School in 1983. I went to work at Ayers Tire Co. The family business where I worked with Mom, Dad and my brother. I ran the service dept. I learned sales early and a passion for helping customers. We closed down the business in 1994. I then owned and operated my own Auto Accessories business, Ayers Auto Accessories, window tinting, selling wheels , tires accessories, auto paint and restoration, wreck repair plus custom suspension modifications. A divorce forced the close of business by 2000. I worked as a mortgage loan officer for Wells Fargo and Allied Mortgage for approximately 5 years after that.

I enjoy riding my Harley, fishing and riding jet skis with my son Will, spending time with my wife Lucy who is a paralegal to a real estate closing attorney and hanging out with our Chihuahua named Coco. We are members of West Rome Baptist Church.

Real Estate Experience

I am licensed in Georgia and Alabama. I received my Georgia license to sell real estate in 2006. In 2009 I passed the Brokers course to become an Associate Broker. In 2011 and 2012 I was invited to serve on the local Greater Rome Board of Realtors as a 2 year local director. In 2016 I was called again to serve on the Greater Rome Board of Realtors as a broker liaison local director for a 1 year term. 2017 I was elected president elect. Then 2018 I was president of the GRBOR and also won the Realtor of the Year award. 2019 I served again on the GRBOR as past president.

I'm a member of the Greater Rome Board of Realtors, Georgia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Etowah, Cherokee Board of Realtors (Al), Gamls, First MLS and North Alabama MLS. We were a Remax franchise for 15 years but decided to discontinue the franchise in 2013 during the market crash.
